Description Ashok Sancheti began designing jewelry about ten years ago and today his collection has developed to over 120 pieces. The pieces are all one-of-a-kind as it is Ashok’s belief that each gemstone is beautiful, rare, and different, and requires its own mounting whose design is dedicated by the gem.

Description Katerina Maxine should have been a Russian Duchess. Born in St. Petersburg in 1982 into a family that was once nobility, she should have inherited extraordinary collections of Russian jewels and property. Instead, the Russian Revolution in 1917 and then the Siege of Russia from 1941 to 1943 changed her destiny.

“I know enough about the glory of my ancestors’ past to know that I wanted to honor my namesake and pay tribute to all they endured and lost; and the best way I can do this is through designing collections of jewelry which are a reminder to all of the splendor of the Russian Empire during this period and the magnificence of the jewels.”

Katya has designed an initial collection of jewels which were inspired by the past and which bears her name. The jewels will capture the magnificence of the Russian Empire considered to be the most extravagant, flamboyant and breathtaking the world has ever seen.
